Wae Rebo Culture Tour will be done in two days trip from Labuan Bajo, West Flores. You need to start early morning from Labuan Bajo, as it is a long adventure journey to reach Wae Rebo village. It takes 5 to 6 hours driving up toward Denge village, and then the rest of the trip is continued by trekking for around 2,5 hours. Wae Rebo village is located in the mountainous area with its altitude is 1,200M above sea level. So, you should be rather strong to trek up till to the village. Upon your arrival at Wae Rebo village you will see some unique traditional houses belong to Manggarai tribe west Flores and feel a pure warmest welcome by friendly local communities of Wae Rebo who live with a full of culture nuance and the village is surrounded by pure natural atmosphere.
Tour Itinerary( 1 night stay in Wae Rebo Village )
Starting Point/Ending Point : Labuan Bajo, West Flores
Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Lembor – Denge village – WaeRebo village (L,D).
- At 5 am driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel
- Drive to Lembor village to see the largest wet paddy-field in west Flores
- Drive toDenge village and have lunch there.
- Start trekking up for 3 hours to a unique traditional village of WaeRebo.
- Dinner and overnight at WaeRebo village.
Day 2 : WaeRebo Village – Denge village – Lembor village – Labuan Bajo (B,L)
- After breakfast at WaeRebo village then see and explore the WaeRebo village, by interacting with the local community to learn about their way of life and their unique culture before leaving the village
- Trek down back to Denge village – drive back to to Labuan Bajo viaNarang and Lembor village. Lunch will be served in Denge or Lembor
- Then drive back to Labuan Bajo.
- Drop you off at your hotel in Labuan Bajo. Your WaeRebo Village Tour with us is ending.
